A peek into our new showroom.
We are so excited to announce our Boston office is moving from the Innovation and Design Center to 44 Thomson Place.
After 24 years at the Innovation and Design Building (IDB), we are moving to a new location 44 Thomson Place, right in the heart of the Seaport District. As with any move, it triggers so many memories. The IDB, for years known simply as the Design Center, has supported our company’s growth since 1997. This move allows COP and our Herman Miller colleagues to transform the historic brick and beam shell of our new location into a creative work environment that supports our teams, while inspiring our clients and partners.
The layout of our new space is more efficient, allowing us to plan a greater variety of collaborative spaces for our teams to gather and host our clients. Supporting all the types of work to be done, from heads down focus work to large town hall type meetings, the showroom will be insightful to our clients as they plan for their own moves and expansions.
Moving to a hybrid work model with unassigned workspaces provides flexibility to our associates to choose how and where they want to work. State of the art technology will support the new environment with room and desk reservations systems, large monitors for sharing content, and video call capabilities to support meetings with those attending in person and virtually.
A mix of classic Herman Miller furniture pieces coupled with other contemporary solutions will provide a range of options to support all workpoints from individual spaces to more communal gathering areas.
We will continue to share updates as we get closer to the big move. Stay tuned!
